A solar system is only as good as the installer standing behind it ten years from now. We design, install and maintain rooftop solar and battery storage — MCS-certified, NICEIC-registered, with fixed pricing and 0% VAT.
A cheap install without the right certification can cost you the Smart Export Guarantee, your warranty, or both.
Required for Smart Export Guarantee payments — a non-MCS install typically can't register for export income at all.
Every solar install is fundamentally an electrical installation — your installer's electrical registration matters as much as their solar accreditation.
The DNO notification and connection standard every grid-connected system must meet before switch-on.
Solar and battery installations carry 0% VAT until March 2027 when supplied and installed together.
Standard rooftop installs are usually Permitted Development — listed buildings and conservation areas have stricter rules, which we check before quoting.
Typical panel warranties run 25 years, inverters 10-12 years, and batteries 10-15 years — we register every warranty on handover.
The right system size depends on household size, roof space and how the electricity will actually be used — not a one-size-fits-all package.
Compact roofs, lower daytime usage
The most common UK system size
Higher usage, EV charging, heat pumps
Standardised installs across multiple plots
Improving EPC rating ahead of MEES requirements
Rolling rollout across managed stock
Offices, warehouses and retail units
Large roof areas, high daytime equipment loads
Long-term running cost reduction
Battery-heavy systems for limited grid access
Panels need cleaning roughly every 6 months, inverters typically need replacing around year 10-12, and a system that isn't monitored can quietly underperform for years without anyone noticing.
A complete, MCS-certified install — no ongoing plan required.
Keeps performance visible and panels working at full efficiency.
Inverter replacement built in — the one guaranteed mid-life cost, never a surprise.
Scoped to system size, roof type and number of sites.
A representative sample of recent work. Full case studies and references available on request.
10-panel installation with 5kWh battery, replacing an ageing boiler-only heating setup.
Identical 4kW systems installed across 18 new-build plots ahead of resident move-in.
System sized to lift the property from an EPC band D to band B ahead of re-letting.
First phase of a multi-block rollout across managed residential stock.
Commercial-scale installation across a distribution warehouse roof to offset daytime energy use.
Large barn roof area used to offset daytime refrigeration and equipment running costs.
Holiday-scheduled install across the main teaching block roof to cut long-term running costs.
6kW system with 10kWh battery and EV charge point installed in one coordinated visit.
Oversized battery relative to panel count to maximise self-sufficiency on a weak grid connection.

Most standard rooftop installations on houses are Permitted Development and don't need planning permission. Listed buildings, conservation areas, and ground-mounted arrays over 9m² have stricter rules — we check this as part of your free survey.
Installing a battery at the same time as your panels is almost always cheaper than retrofitting one later, since you share the installation visit and often the inverter. If budget is tight, a hybrid (battery-ready) inverter now and a battery later is a reasonable middle ground.
Most UK domestic systems pay for themselves in around 10-12 years through a combination of reduced electricity bills and Smart Export Guarantee payments for exported electricity. After that, the remaining 15+ years of generation are effectively free.
